Unlock your potential here! Here is some of what you can expect from being a EMT with us: You will function as a primary care provider in the out-of-hospital setting . You will be responsible for all aspects of care provided to the sick and injured .
You will provide basic life support, including patient assessment, airway management, use of the automatic defibrillator, and assist patients with taking some of their own medications as protocol allows. You will be responsible for driving the ambulance in a safe and responsible manner under all conditions . You must have a thorough knowledge of the street, highway, and addressing systems in which he or she will be working .
You must understand all applicable legal, moral, and ethical issues surrounding the emergency medical service environment . You should be dedicated to continuing education and maintenance of licensures and certifications.
