Job Profile Summary Performs a variety of complex technical support duties to ensure the timely installation, modification, or repair of new or relocated desktop and mobile information technology and provides end users with first level support covering a wide variety of questions on systems, software, hardware, peripherals, services, etc. Education
Responsibilities include: Serving as primary contact point for computer users questions/problems; investigating assigned requests for services; researching and developing solutions to complex issues and requests; moving existing and installing new/upgraded end user equipment and applications; troubleshooting and repairing complex desktop and mobile hardware and software; researching non-routine questions; proactively assisting users in effectively utilizing information technology including suggesting specific training; participating in planning of major move/new facility installation projects as requested; performing associated administrative/documentation tasks; assisting with internal process improvement initiatives; and maintaining up-to-date job knowledge.
This position requires on-site work, travel between various sites, and active participation in projects. Routes more complex problems to third level support following procedures. Educational
Completion of a 2 year technical degree program or a bachelor’s degree in health information management, information technology, or a healthcare/health sciences discipline at an accredited school OR 2 year work experience including related experience in technology or Service Desk support Licensure/Certification
