You’ll need
Certifications
✓Basic Life Support certification is required upon hire and must be valid for 90 days or greater from start date.
✓Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.
Education
✓High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Qualifications
✓Familiarity with the digestive tract and respiratory disease processes.
✓Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting.
✓Excellent communication skills.
✓Minimal typing and basic computer skills.
Medical background and experience as a Medical Assistant or GI Technical Specialist (GTS) preferred.

About the role
The Endoscopy Technician I assists with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse and/or physicians in Endoscopy. The technician assists with assessment of patient needs and follows through with the designated plan of action.
