You’ll need
Certifications
✓American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 3 months of hire
✓In lieu of certification; two years experience as a GI Technician will be accepted
✓Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Surgical Technician or EMT education program is required
✓Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Surgical Technician or EMT certification is required
Education
✓High School diploma or equivalent is required
Qualifications
✓A minimum of 1 year of progressive experience as an Endoscopy Technician I considered
✓In lieu of education; two years experience as a GI Technician will be accepted
✓Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
✓Ability to prioritize, concentrate and pay close attention to details
✓Completion of Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) Associates Program is required within 6 months of hire
✓Completion of Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) Advanced Associates Program is required within 6 months after completion of Associates Program
