You’ll need
Certifications
✓Required to complete six (6) hours of hospital provided continuing education upon hire and annually for Advanced Sterile Processing Certification.
Education
✓High school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of infection control principles.
✓Education will focus on the standards of practice in instrument decontamination, transportation, and reprocessing.

About the role
The Endoscopy Technician I is responsible for the care and maintenance of endoscopes and accessory equipment utilized for medical procedures, following infection control guidelines, hospital policies and manufacturer recommendations. Tasks are performed independently and under the supervision of licensed staff.
