Endowed Professor (Full-Time, Tenure Track) – School of Behavioral Health Sciences The School of Behavioral Health Sciences at UTHealth Houston invites applications for a full-time Endowed Professor position. We seek an accomplished scholar with a strong record of NIH-funded research and demonstrated leadership in advancing behavioral health science. Candidate must provide a minimum of 50% in funding for salary support from grants and contracts.

Lead a robust, externally funded research program in behavioral health sciences. Maintain active NIH research funding and pursue new grant opportunities. Provide mentorship to junior faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students.

Collaborate across UTHealth Houston and affiliated institutions to foster interdisciplinary research. Contribute to teaching and curriculum development within the School of Behavioral Health Sciences. Engage in service activities that advance the mission of UTHealth Houston.

Ph. D., M. D., or equivalent in behavioral health sciences, psychology, psychiatry, public health, or a related field.

Distinguished record of scholarship and sustained NIH funding. Evidence of leadership in research and academic program development. Preferred Expertise: Behavioral health interventions, mental health disparities, addiction science, or related areas.

Experience with large-scale, collaborative research initiatives. Compensation and
