✓Performing capital project administrative functions: Manage and ensure successful completion of administrative tasks including but not limited to: reviewing Certificate to Proceed packages and project registrations, authorizing change orders, initiating Purchase Orders, and reviewing, preparing
✓Building Operator Certification Level 1 or 2 or a related certification
Education
✓A baccalaureate degree in engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, business administration or public administration from an accredited college or university
✓A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and five years of experience as described in 1 above
✓A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent plus any combination of the experience and/or college education as described in 1 above to make up the equivalent of five years of education and experience.
✓One year of credit will be given for each 30 semester credits of college education leading to a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, business administration or in public administration.
Qualifications
✓and one year of full-time satisfactory experience in project management work, such as planning, administrating, managing, coordinating or expediting for engineering and/or architectural and/or landscape architectural projects
✓Special Note: Experience which is primarily of a design nature is not acceptable towards meeting the minimum requirements.
✓Building energy systems and energy efficiency technologies.
✓Various HVAC systems including boilers, chillers, air handling units, rooftop units, building automation systems (BAS), air, steam, and chilled water distribution systems, and other heating and cooling applications.
✓Technical project management operations including project planning, scope development, design management, construction oversight, and project close-out.
✓ASHRAE energy standards and NYC energy, mechanical, and electrical codes.
✓Energy costs and utility billing structures, energy savings calculation methodologies, and emissions calculation methodologies.
✓Strong strategic problem-solving abilities.
✓Demonstrated commitment to customer service.
✓Ability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous projects.
✓High level of productivity with the ability to meet and exceed deadlines.
✓Strong organizational and coordination skills across stakeholders.
Design and construction of energy efficiency retrofit projects in existing buildings, preferably healthcare facilities of varying age, size, and use. preferred
