Under the direction of the Director of Facility Services and/or his or her designee, the Environmental Services Aide is responsible for performing cleaning of patient and non-patient care areas throughout the facility to ensure that they are in a high state of cleanliness at all times. In addition to this, some duties include floor care and medical and non-medical waste disposal. To perform other duties as assigned.
High School graduate or GED required. Must have the ability to read written instructions and comprehend verbal instructions given in English. Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
One year of housekeeping experience preferred. One year of hospital-based housekeeping preferred. License and cert: Certificate in a recognized housekeeping or floor care program preferred.
Shifts may vary - 3:00pm - 11:30pm Days: mon - sun - rotating - every other weekend Pay Scale - 23.00 - 26.00 per hour Education High School (required)
