Education and Work
High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related

Performs routine cleaning of operating rooms, nursing units, departments, lobbies, lounges, restrooms corridors, elevators, and stairways. Assists Operating Room team with case cart, equipment, and supply needs. Distributes, collects and processes linens.
Assists with additional duties such as cryo-machine, autoclave room, ordering food. Assists with transport and moving patients. Gets inpatient beds, changes beds and gurneys as needed.
Sets up rooms based on procedure and surgeon preference with proper equipment, beds and positioning adjuncts. Performs terminal cleaning of surgical suites daily; hallways, sterile processing, sterile core, sub-sterile rooms, anesthesia work room, ancillary rooms and other areas weekly. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
