Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day EVS operations, including staffing, scheduling, and supply management Maintain safety, sanitation, and infection control standards, and conduct routine inspections Respond to patient, staff, and visitor service concerns professionally Lead, coach, and develop EVS staff, supporting hiring, onboarding, and training Promote team morale, accountability, and a culture of excellence Support policy development, process improvements, and emergency preparedness Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, and vendors for facility and equipment needs Track departmental expenses and provide input for budgeting Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 3 years in Environmental Services, Housekeeping, or facilities support in healthcare, hospitality, or institutional settings – required At least 1 year of team leadership experience, including staff scheduling, task delegation, performance management, and training – preferred License(s)/Certification(s): N one
