LOCATION : Leahi Hospital | Housekeeping POSITION STATUS : Temporary, Full-Time with Benefits SALARY RANGE : BU01 | BC02 SALARY RATE: $54,408.00 (Annual Salary) Temporary appointments may be extended/converted to permanent as deemed necessary by management. JOB DUTIES : This position is located in the Housekeeping units at Leahi Hospital. The incumbent performs a variety of light and heavy manual tasks and other related duties as required to maintain an assigned area in a clean, sanitary, orderly and attractive condition in order to provide a suitable environment for the care of patients, for visitors and for employees.
Performs other related duties as required. THE MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS ARE: Applicants must meet all of the following requirements. Please note that unless specifically indicated; the required education and experiences may not be gained concurrently.
In addition, qualifying work experiences are based on a 40-hour work week. The incumbent of this position may also provide services at Maluhia. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
None required. Prefer high school graduate with good oral and written comprehension of the English language. EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING : None required.
Some experience involving the cleaning of buildings, and janitorial work preferred. KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: KNOWLEDGE OF : Practices, tools and materials used in janitorial work. ABILITY TO : Lift and carry heavy furniture and equipment; understand and follow oral and written instructions; perform minor building repair and maintenance tasks; and operate heavy industrial type cleaning equipment.
