We have new opportunities available for you to join our Health System Information Services (HSIS) team , where you'll work with more than 400 professionals committed to keeping UAB Medicine’s IT systems and infrastructure secure and running smoothly to deliver quality patient care and support our business operations. Ideal candidates have previous Epic experience and certifications. If you aren’t certified, certification must be obtained within 12 weeks of completing the required Epic training (November 2026) with no more than two testing attempts
To participate in the analysis, design, implementation, and ongoing support of software critical to healthcare operation including support of Epic. To maintain positive relationships with stakeholders. To optimize performance to ensure the system effectively supports healthcare operations.
To stay current on technological advancements and adapts to new developments. To provide ongoing system support through on-call duties, monitoring, and maintenance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field and eight (8) years of healthcare application support experience required.
Work experience may substitute for education requirement. Epic certification in area of support or certification obtained within 12 weeks of completing Epic training with no more than two (2) testing attempts required.
