You’ll need
Certifications
✓Current BLS certification or within 30 days of hire (Certification must be current prior to being release from Orientation status and providing independant patient care without an assigned preceptor).
✓Certificate of Completion of a formal program that meets regulatory standards in Conflict resolution, de-escalation and teaches physical intervention techniques.
✓Must have on hire or obtained within 90 days of hire (I.e.
✓MOAB, CPI or equivalent)
Education
✓A high school diploma or GED; Completion of a formal training course in phlebotomy procedures from an accredited school or training program preferred. Must provide documented evidence to perform waived testing.
Qualifications
✓One year phlebotomy experience including obtaining specimens from neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required along with moderate knowledge of medical terminology.
