EVS Technician I

This position provides for specialized cleaning of hospital areas assigned on a daily basis. This cleaning includes dusting, mopping, linen collection, waste removal and disposal, bathroom cleaning and cleaning of common areas, offices, patient rooms or specialized areas as assigned.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Industrial or Healthcare experience preferred. Knowledge and

Ability to learn all phases of housekeeping duties and to maintain a favorable productivity level after the training period. Ability to learn and understand the importance of EVS role in maintaining cleanliness to prevent infections and hospital aquired illnesses of patients, families, employees, physicians, and others. Ability to speak, understand, and read sufficient English to perform the requirements of the position.
