SUMMARY Duties include operating rotoclave system (waste removal system), clean empty carts and facility, enter data on computer. RESPONSIBILITIES Has demonstrated proficiency in all responsibilities as required by Tech I.
Understands all waste types and is able to dispose of in correct manner. Demonstrates knowledge of different floor types and has ability to scrub, burnish and refinish floors. Assists in training of new employees in EVS procedures.
Hang cubicle and window curtains. Utilize HEV and paging system and spectra link phones. Routinely clean isolation rooms Ability to work without constant supervision Ability to understand process of UV disinfection and operate UV System.
Transport patient beds, mattresses and bed extenders as needed to and from rooms. Complete all necessary paperwork
HS Diploma or GED equivalent preferred; however, requisite experience in similar role will be considered in lieu of educational requirement when necessary and appropriate. Ability to follow written and oral instructions necessary. Ability to lift, bend, and stoop continuously.
Qualified candidates must have good reading/ writing skills and computer knowledge.
