Experience in an academic health system, medical school, Tier One research university, or complex nonprofit environment where philanthropy is a strategic imperative, with campaign experience preferred.
Qualifications
✓10+ years' experience among Development/Advancement/Philanthropy programs at higher educational or healthcare institution(s) with a proven track record securing six, seven and eight figure gifts required. 8+ years' experience leading/managing teams and coaching staff required.
A desire to save and improve the lives of children and their families, so that each child can live their healthiest, most fulfilling life preferred
Fundraising experience with a focus on major/principal giving and an ability to develop and implement gift strategies with significant institutional impact preferred
A track record of success within a comprehensive capital campaign at a similar size higher educational and/or healthcare institution preferred
Planned giving experience or the equivalent knowledge of charitable gift/estate planning skill set(s) preferred
Outstanding collaborative skills as a member of a team while working independently across diverse constituencies preferred
Exemplary interpersonal skills with capability to favorably affect donors and volunteers preferred
Ability to foster meaningful work in a supportive culture with positivity and humor. preferred
