McCaw at emccaw@pennstatehealth.psu.edu SUMMARY OF POSITION: Responsible to the Coordinator of designated area of Cardiovascular Center for maintaining patient flow, design of exercise parameters and maintenance of overall safety of patient during exercise / testing sessions. Assume an elevated role with instruction of students and new hires and have active participation in a selected special interest project.

Serve as a mentor to less experienced staff.

• Master of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology and/or other Allied Health related degree required 2 years experience working in a Non
• Invasive Cardiology Lab or Cardiac Rehab Facility required Certification through ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) as Exercise Specialist or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist or through AACVPR (American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation) as Certified Cardiac Rehab Professional required CPR / BLS certificate for Health Care Providers required PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS*: Able to sit/stand frequently; walk occasionally.
