Licensure
✓Appropriate education to obtain and maintain Registered Nursing licensure in the State of Nevada.
✓Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Registered Nurse license.
✓State of Nevada Point of Care Analyst POCA license required within 120 days of hire: 200208, 200255, 209256, 200266, 400255, 400266.
✓State of Nevada Point of Care Analyst POCA license required within six (6) months of hire: 200201
Certifications
✓Current BLS certification by The American Heart Association standards.
✓Other Specific Department Required Certificates: Employees will obtain the extra certifications within six months, unless otherwise specified, of being hired or transferring into the department that requires the additional certificates.

✓PALS per The American Heart Association Standards Required for Department: 200322, 200323 within 6 months of being hired.
✓NRP Required for Departments: 200171, 200174, 200206 additions to BLS & RNSTABLE certification required for 200174 within 6 months of being hired or transferring.
✓ENLS (Emergency Neuro Life Support) Required for Department 200150 within 18-24 months of being hired or transferred to the department.
Education
✓RNFA: RN may perform in the capacity of a first assist if he or she is a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, Completion of a RNFA program that includes didactic and supervised clinical practice, is based on AORN's core curriculum for the RNFA 200201, 200340, 400201, 400340.

✓ENPC per The Emergency Nurse's Association or PALS per The American Heart Association Standards Required for Departments: 200255, 200268, 200276, 209256 within one year of being hired or transferring to the department in addition to ACLS, BLS & RN.
✓ENPC per The Emergency Nurse's Association or PALS per The American Heart Association Standards required within 3 months of being hired or transferring to the department: 200326.
✓ENPC per The Emergency Nurse's Association Required for Departments: 200323 within 12 months of being hired.
✓ENPC or PALS preferred for 200266TNCC Required for Departments: 200323, 200326 within 18 months of being hired or transferring to the department.
✓TNCC or TCAR Required for Departments: 200202, 200151 within 18 months of being hired or transferring to the department.
✓PCAR Required for Departments: 200179 within 18 months of being hired or transferring to the department.
✓APHON Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Required for Departments: 200178, 200179, 200324 within 24 months of being hired or transferring into the department.
TNCC and ENPC preferred: 400326.
OCN certification preferred.

About the role
This position provides optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the context of the nursing process. The incumbent is accountable for individualized patient outcomes over an entire episode of care.
