Assists in the performance of duties necessary to keep the equipment and facilities presentable and in good repair. Performs a variety of routine general and preventative maintenance duties. Performs routine painting jobs on furniture, fixtures and interior and exterior surfaces.
Prepares surfaces, removing paint or varnish finishes, fills and repairs walls, floors, ceilings, etc. Maintains required records. Job
Education and Work
High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related
Preferred Relevant industrial/commercial painting
Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver’s License (DL) and must be at least 21 yrs of age or older: Required
Plans and performs a wide variety of routine painting jobs on furniture, fixtures and interior and exterior surfaces. Prepares surfaces, removing paint or varnish finishes, fills and repairs walls, floors, ceilings, etc. Participates as needed in major renovations, new construction, alterations and installations.
Maintains a record of service cycles and other maintenance activities conducted. Maintains preventative maintenance records, reports and files as required. Maintains tools and supplies necessary to perform duties.
Reports damage, defects and other issues pertaining to equipment. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Organizational
