Head and Neck Surgery at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a full-time Faculty Associate Clinical Speech
Language Pathologist for the department of Otolaryngology. The successful candidate should have training and at least three years of experience in the evaluation and treatment of voice disorders, airway disorders (PVFM, Chronic Cough), and swallowing disorders. Expertise in laryngectomy management, TEP, and swallowing disorders in the head and neck cancer patient population is desired. Background in singing voice and its rehabilitation is preferred. Expertise in and affinity for gender affirming voice care is desired. Ability to independently perform Videostroboscopy, Modified Barium Swallow studies, FEES, and acoustic voice analysis is required. The successful candidate will work within a growing multidisciplinary team of laryngologists, H&N surgeons, and speech pathologists, and will see patients in both our Dallas and Fort Worth Moncrief facilities. Additional responsibilities include educational outreach and participation in research. The candidate must have a master’s degree and must be eligible for or hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech
