Pediatric Faculty Attending Physician The Middlesex Health Family Medicine Residency Program seeks an experienced, board-certified DO or MD Pediatrician to join our faculty in a full-time outpatient role (nursery care optional). This exceptional opportunity combines clinical excellence with teaching, mentorship, and curriculum development in one of our three NCQA Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home practices. Protected administrative time supports teaching, curriculum development, scholarly work, and professional growth.
There is opportunity for academic advancement through our partner Universities. EPIC EMR with AI documentation allows integrated care with all neighboring institutions caring for pediatric patients. Our 28-resident program is powered by a collaborative, experienced, and diverse faculty, including two other pediatricians, an OB/Gyn, a clinical psychologist, and integrated behavioral health.
Department: Family Medicine Residency Program Hours: 35 hours per week
The Pediatric Faculty Physician is responsible for providing direct patient care to pediatric patients in our three Family Medicine practices. This role involves significant teaching, clinical care, and preparing Family Medicine residents to provide comprehensive care to infants, children, and adolescents. The Pediatric Faculty member will play an integral role in educating and developing Family Medicine residents through direct clinical supervision, didactic teaching, bedside education, and participation in the residency program's quality improvement and scholarly activities.
Minimum Years of

(what degree and in what field) MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatrics residency program. Board certification in Pediatrics.
Active, unrestricted Connecticut medical license
- Prior experience teaching medical students, residents, or other healthcare professionals. Experience working in an academic Family Medicine or community-based residency program. Fellowship training or additional expertise in a pediatric subspecialty is welcome but not required. Experience with quality improvement, curriculum development, scholarly activity, or graduate medical education. Commitment to caring for diverse and underserved patient populations.
