You’ll need
Licensure
✓Active licensure as a Family Therapist (e.g., LMFT) in the state of Connecticut, required
✓Must maintain current licensure and professional liability insurance
Qualifications
✓Strong clinical expertise in family systems and evidence-based modalities
✓Ability to manage complex family dynamics and psychiatric presentations
✓Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
✓Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
✓Ability to maintain professionalism and clinical judgment in emotionally charged situations
✓Minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure experience providing family and/or couples therapy
✓Must be available to provide in-person services on Silver Hill’s campus in New Canaan, CT
Experience working with complex psychiatric populations preferred
Experience in a hospital or outpatient setting preferred

About the role
The Family Therapy Contractor provides specialized family and couples therapy within a new outpatient program. This role is responsible for assessing family dynamics, delivering evidence-based interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support improved functioning and mental health outcomes.
