Verify accurate and precise performance of instrumentation. Perform and document routine troubleshooting procedures, start-up, shutdown, and operational checks. Inspect, document, and rectify safety hazards.
Document, update, and maintain instrument/equipment inventory in laboratories. Document, update, and maintain parts and supplies inventory required to perform functions. Inspect, verify, and provide documentation for all services performed at a laboratory site, within the Laboratory Instrumentation Department and by means of the telephone.
Test, diagnose, and repair electronic circuits, employing the basics of analog and digital electronics to the component level. Repair, maintain, and demonstrate an intermediate understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and hydro-pneumatic systems. Perform other related duties as required.
Assume other activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed. Qualifications
Experience Four years experience troubleshooting some combination of clinical laboratory, electromechanical, optical, robotic, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. Must complete and successfully pass the Basic Computer Literacy Assessment. (The Basic Computer Literacy Assessment score must be current within one (1) year.
