This position provides specialized repair (Radiology, Ultrasound, etc.) and maintenance services to diagnostic imaging equipment and biomedical equipment.

This position provides specialized repair (Radiology, Ultrasound, etc.) and maintenance services to diagnostic imaging equipment and biomedical equipment. Essential Job Functions
Performs repair and maintenance primarily on general imaging equipment, such as X-Ray units, Portable X-ray units, C-arms, CR units, DR Units, Ultrasound systems, O-Arms, Injectors, etc.
Provides equipment repair and preventative maintenance throughout responsible area.
Completes all necessary record keeping for work orders received and/or finished.
Reviews and creates procedures and policies relating to the preventative maintenance program.
Assists in the ordering of parts and supplies necessary for the most cost-effective maintenance of medical equipment.
Provides on-call coverage on a rotating basis and provides support to techs for assigned equipment during On-Call.
Provides input to the Biomed Director regarding new service opportunities within a location serviced by the Clinical Engineering Division.
Provides cross training, technical support, project management, and emergency management in the shop and clinical environment.
May also provide repair and maintenance of general biomedical equipment as secondary responsibility or as assigned.
