You’ll need
Education
✓High school diploma or equivalent required.
✓An associate degree or equivalent coursework may substitute for the one year of required experience.
Qualifications
✓One year of experience in financial services, business operations, physician office settings, or customer service required.
✓Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and telephone etiquette.
✓Ability to professionally collect patient payments and discuss financial responsibilities.
✓Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
✓Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
✓Ability to maintain accuracy, attention to detail, and professionalism when handling sensitive financial and patient information.
Two years of business, financial, or physician practice experience preferred.
Knowledge and experience verifying patient demographics and insurance information preferred.
Familiarity with CPT and diagnosis coding preferred.
