DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION Operation of boilers, chillers and all related equipment. Maintenance of all equipment in the operation of plant area. Repair of environmental, dietary, cardiac rehab and any equipment or items within the hospital which can be brought to operation of plant.

Assembling of new equipment is also required. Testing of emergency generators to comply with JCAHO and to assure proper operation. Monitor and adjust as needed equipment in the building automation system.

Responsible for cleaning and painting of the operation of plant area. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
