Qualifications
✓Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD

✓Computer literacy
✓Maps and tracking
✓Demonstrated dispatch experience with 911 (Public Safety), EMS agency or HUC (Health Unit Coordinator), experience in a hospital environment
✓Intermediate computer proficiency
✓Typing speed (minimum 40 wpm)
✓Previous experience with FAA, (Federal Aviation), FCC, (Federal Communication Commission, CAMTS, (Commission Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems), regulations and requirements in a medical transport communications center environment.
One year dispatch experience with 911 (Public Safety), EMS agency, HUC (Health Unit Coordinator), or other experience in a hospital environment. preferred
Ability to perform complex tasks, prioritize multiple requests and manages patient transport in a fast-paced environment preferred
Excellent customer service skills preferred
Strong verbal and written communication preferred
Basic medical terminology preferred
