You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current Registered Nurse license certified by the State of Texas required.
Certifications
✓Current CPR/BLS certification.
PALS, TNCC and ACLS preferred.
Education
✓Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of nursing theories and practices. Effective oral and written communications skills.
✓Must be available to work all shifts.
✓Must be available to cover open shifts, both day and night, wherever there is a need to ensure adequate staffing levels.
✓Must be available to respond and report to work within two (2) hours when called upon due to staffing situation demands.
✓Work a minimum of 36 hours per work week.
✓Attendance will be considered a part of the performance standard. Poor attendance (two (2) cancellations of scheduled work, and/or two (2) declinations of requests to work during staffing situation demands) may be considered grounds for removal of Float Pool position.

About the role
It is located in the heart of West Texas. Opened in 1949, the hospital was originally located near downtown Stanton. This facility served the community well for many years but was replaced with a state of the art 18 bed facility in 2012.
