Job Overview: Under the supervision of a Department of Food and Nutrition Services Supervisor or Manager, the Food Service Worker II uses excellent customer service skills, establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees, officials and all members of the general public.

Day Time: 700am—3:00pm Status:Full-Time Position may require to work every other weekend depending on the department’s needs.
Assists in tray set-up Collects, processes and disposes of trash accordingly. Performs general cleaning duties as requested Delivers meals to patient care units. Assists patients when possible.
Cleans food carriers upon return. Prepares, stocks and transports food carriers Follows work assignments as established Keep dining room tables straightened and clean Locks register when leaving the immediate area Operates cash register accordingly. Collects cash/ guest meal tickets and makes change as needed Participates and maintains cleaning schedules.
Maintains cleanliness of work area, equipment and supplies Performs all other duties as assigned Reconciles cash accurately and fills out a reconciliation slip. Responsible for all reconciliations with a $3.00 overage/shortage Scrapes, scours and rinses pots, pans, utensils and equipment. Performs heavy cleaning duties Set up menu board to reflect current menu Wipe off counters and tables, arrange and replenish items as needed.
