Responsible for preparing meals to order, catering and batch cooking for patients, visitors and staff. Adjusts meals to meet the needs of the patient while following doctor’s ordersKeeps all work areas adequately stocked with food, condiments, beverages and service ware.

Washes dishes and utensils following Illinois Department of Public Health guidelines in all actions. Delivers and retrieves trays using required patient identifiers in all interactions. Attractively and accurately assembles patient trays.

Follows established portion control guidelines when serving food and beveragesResponsible for service to retail operations. Prepares meals using approved food sanitation practicesSweeps and mops floors using approved methods.
