Certifications
✓Scheduling and Registration Certification required within six (6) months of hire.
Education
✓High School Diploma or GED required.
College coursework preferred.
Qualifications
✓Minimum of four (4) years of front office, patient access, customer service, or related experience required.
✓Previous healthcare experience required.
✓Working knowledge of medical procedural coding and charge entry.
✓Strong customer service and patient engagement skills.
✓Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
✓Ability to effectively collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, patients, and leadership.
✓Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) and patient information systems.
✓Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
✓Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
✓Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
✓Commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and service excellence.
Experience with patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and medical office workflows strongly preferred.
Prior leadership, mentoring, or lead experience preferred.
