McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston ’s Louis A. Faillace, MD, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences , is seeking a distinguished Full Professor to join our academic and clinical community. This is a unique opportunity to lead and expand innovative research and clinical programs focused on Treatment-Resistant Depression (TRD).

Position Highlights: Academic Rank: Full Professor (Tenured) Focus Area: Treatment-Resistant Depression Location: Texas Medical Center, Houston, TX Position Key Accountabilities: Advance research in TRD through federally funded projects. Provide clinical care and support service development for TRD. Collaborate across departments and institutions within the Texas Medical Center.

Contribute to teaching and mentoring within the Psychiatry residency and fellowship programs.

Federal Research Funding: Active NIH or equivalent federal grant support. Medical License: Must hold a Texas medical license or be eligible to obtain one. Clinical Expertise: Proven experience in delivering and supporting clinical services for patients with treatment-resistant depression.

Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior faculty and trainees.
