General Surgery Physician Per Diem (MD/DO) - North Carolina Surgery at Wilson

• Diem General Surgeon in Wilson, NC The practice focuses on general surgery cases, such as breast surgery, colon surgery, and hernia surgery using laparoscopic techniques. Through its partnership with North Carolina Surgery, the practice’s patients will have easy access to a network of more than three dozen surgeons who can provide resources for complex cases. The practice currently consists of three physicians (MDs) and two advanced practice providers, with an additional APP to be hired. Average patient volume ranges from approximately 80 to 120 patients per month, and the position includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible and comfortable performing the full scope of general surgery procedures. Wilson, NC, is a vibrant small city blending Southern charm with modern amenities and an affordable cost of living. It’s strategically located about 45 miles east of Raleigh and the Research Triangle Park, with easy access to I-95, RDU International Airport, the NC coast, and the mountains for weekend getaways.
