Dedicated support from Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in both the clinic and hospital settings. 24/7 hospitalist program manages adult and pediatric inpatient care, allowing surgeons to focus on surgical services. Fully integrated health system utilizing Epic EMR across clinics and hospitals to enhance care coordination. Experienced clinical and non-clinical staff with strong relationships throughout the community. Full-time position with dedicated administrative time and flexible scheduling to ensure excellent patient access. Responsibilities Balanced mix of trauma, general surgery, and outpatient follow-up care. Typical office hours: Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Average of 15 patients per day, and postoperative follow-up visits. Office procedures vary based on physician preference. Practice includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. Surgical Scope Appendectomy Cholecystectomy Breast Surgery minimally invasive hernia repair Robot assisted surgery hernia repair Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) surgery Colectomy Complex abdominal surgery, Dialysis access procedures Endocrine surgery Lymphatic system and spleen surgery Call Schedule Shared 1:3 call rotation. Coverage includes level 3 trauma, ED, and inpatient consultation Approximately 10 days of call per month, with home call (not required to remain onsite). Evening and weekend call responsibilities.
