Licensure
✓Board eligible for certification by the American Board of Medical Genetics or the American Board of Genetic Counseling.
Certifications
✓Certification as a Genetic Counselor to be obtained within three (3) years, commencing with date of hire.
✓Current certification in CPR at Healthcare Professional level.
Education
✓Master’s degree in genetic counseling from an accredited program.
Qualifications
✓finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking, lifting usual weight of 5 pounds, pushing/pulling usual weight of 50 pounds, carrying usual weight of 10 pounds.
✓Frequent: standing, walking, reaching above, at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions
✓Occasional: sitting, stooping/bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, squatting, twisting body, lifting and carrying weight up to 20 pounds, pushing/pulling weight up to 50 pounds, static gripping of an object for a prolonged period, frequent gripping of an object
✓Operates various office and audiovisual equipment.
Experience working in the field of genetics preferred.
