GI/HPB Surgical Oncology Advanced Practice Provider

What We OfferNovant Health Cancer Institute Elizabeth is looking for a compassionate, caring Advanced Practice Provider in our Charlotte market to provide care and perform selective medical services under the direction of practice physicians at our GI/HBP location and Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will assist surgical cases for GI/HPB cases with additional support with inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic duties.

The APP will be paired primarily to work with one full-time MD and a part-time MD who will also serve as the supervising physicians. Responsibilities will vary depending on surgical and clinic caseloads of the physicians but will primarily include prepping admissions & discharges, nursing triage, assisting in clinic, chart review, call rotation, surgical preparatory work and other duties surrounding patient care as needed.

What We're Looking ForEducation: Graduate Degree, required. Masters, required.

Prior GI/HPB experience preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current NP or PA license in North Carolina, State BON/Med Board, current DEA registration, BLS; required. RNFA required for NP candidates.

Additional Skills Required: Ability to complete generic or department specific competencies. Ability to work with management teams and physicians. Ability to demonstrate outstanding customer service skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills.
