Day
Accurately performs cashier duties, payroll deduction transactions, and cash drawer reconciliation. Orders, receives, and maintains inventory, including processing and tagging new merchandise. Facilitates system upgrades to support operational efficiency.
Merchandises products and maintains a safe, orderly, and customer-friendly environment. Assists customers with purchases and inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience. Prepares, coordinates, and advertises sales to promote store activity.
Trains Volunteers in daily operations and customer service. Prepares bi-weekly payroll deduction for submission to Payroll. Reconciles monthly credit card statements to ensure financial accuracy.
Provides monthly purchase activity reports to the Foundation Director. Actively markets and promotes the gift shop to increase annual sales and net profit. Maintains compliance with safety standards and store organization protocols.
Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Comply with departmental policies and procedures. [Required] Other duties as may be assigned. [Required] Strong organizational, communication and customer service skills. [Preferred] Basic computer skills with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office software programs [Preferred]
