The Graduate Assistant assists the hiring department with assigned projects. Performs other duties as needed. This student role supports peers by providing tutoring in writing and selected subject areas (algebra, anatomy and physiology, and statistics) while also offering holistic academic coaching.
Tutors work with students to improve their mastery of course content, strengthen writing and communication skills, and develop effective study strategies. Bachelor's Degree required. Must be a current student at Loma Linda University. Completion of at least one quarter/semester of coursework with a minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
