Bonus PotentialSummary/Objective Fulfills the role of Institutional Coordinator and is responsible to the Designated Institutional Official (DIO) and the hospital's COO forcoordinating institutional and program oversight to ensure compliance with ACGME institutional and programaccreditation requirements. Responsible for advising program directors and program coordinators on ACGME andinstitutional standards and providing guidance to support compliance.

Serves as the primary point of contact forprogram leadership across all GME programs and is responsible for mentoring and training program coordinators,including one-on-one support as needed. Ensures accurate preparation and submission of accreditation materialsand oversees compliance-related communications and documentation across the institution. Maintains responsibility for ensuring that all GME programs adhere to ACGME institutional andcommon program requirements by preparing, reviewing, and updating accreditation materials,policies, and compliance documentation.2. Directs GME strategic initiatives, budgeting, institutional research collaboratives, onboarding anddeparture processes, new residency and fellowship evaluation, and the development andimplementation of system-wide improvements.3.

Coordinates all aspects of GMEC activities, including meetings, policy reviews, accreditationreporting, and evaluation processes that contribute to the institution’s ongoing accreditationreadiness and governance.4. Manages data collection, database systems, and reporting platforms used for institutionaloversight, ACGME submissions, and internal performance reviews, ensuring accuracy, timeliness,and utility of data.5.

Applies expertise in medical education, credentialing, licensure, confidentiality standards, andpolicy development while interacting effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and promotingeffective communication across departments.6. Acts as liaison between hospital, DIO and program directors to accomplish hospital/ GME programgoals and objectives. Required Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Health Care, Health Care Administration or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years in a healthcare or academic setting, with at least 3 years of experience in anautomated office environment using computer-based systems.
