Our graduate nurse program is comprised of four complementary components: Hospital & Nursing Orientation: a multi-day introduction to our organization Unit Orientation: 12-20 week competency-based orientation program Mentorship: 3+ month peer support program Nurse Residency Program: 12-month professional development coursework Our program is designed to introduce the graduate and novice nurse into the practice arena with sensitivity to the ever-changing dynamics in our world and environment.
With all the stressors inherent to a new job or role, we have purposefully introduced changes to our program to allow a more gradual immersion – with the result being a more confident and satisfied practitioner. Our CAP program (Clinical Advancement Program) offers Nurses the opportunity to advance both in recognition and financial reward.
Required: Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree required (BSN preferred). Note, if the BSN or MSN degree is not present on hire, the employee must sign an agreement to obtain a within a specific time frame. Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse (or licensed prior to hire).
BLS certification (issued through the American Heart Association). Superb interpersonal, communication and collaboration abilities. Competency in electronic patient management systems.

$40.09 – $57.35. Pay is based on experience, skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
