✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field and/or certified or licensed in a clinically related field.
Certifications
Illinois LPC/LSW, LCPC/LCSW preferred.
Qualifications
✓Prior experience providing group facilitation.
✓Must have knowledge of group process, dynamics, and group safety precautions.
✓Knowledge in both process and psychoeducation group facilitation.
✓Knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy theory and intervention.
✓Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with hospital staff (peers and leadership).
✓This individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
✓Diplomacy and discretion are essential, as well as excellent organizational skills . Professional demeanor and appearance required.
Experience working with a psychiatric mental health population preferred.

About the role

Responsibilities GROUP THERAPIST - FULL TIME The Group Therapist is responsible for quality psychoeducational and psychotherapeutic treatment of pediatric, adolescent and adult patients. This is accomplished through preparation and facilitation of regular group therapy sessions designed to meet patients’ needs.
