Certifications
✓Completion of fundamentals course from an approved nursing program, or equivalent certification or experience, required.
✓Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in the State of Ohio, or equivalent education or experience, required.
✓Current CPR certification (BLS for healthcare provider), required.
✓One year of patient care experience in a hospital setting within the last three years, or equivalent education or certification, required.
Qualifications
✓Effective written and verbal communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
✓Must demonstrate competence as defined in the Patient Care Assistant responsibilities/skills checklist in providing age appropriate care and services to pediatric patients of all ages and selected adult patients.
