You’ll need
Licensure
✓To ensure the safety and wellbeing of our employees, individuals and communities we serve, certain positions within DBHDD may require evaluations, vaccinations, professional licensure and certifications.
✓Licenses must be current and enable providers to practice within the State of Georgia.
Education
High School Diploma or GED and a valid Driver’s License from the state in which candidate resides preferred
High School diploma/GED and six (6) months of experience in a related field preferred
Qualifications
✓Must have a clear MVR record and meet the Policy requirements for operating a State-owned vehicle: must be 21 years of age and have a minimum of 3 years driving experience.
✓The following are a listing of evaluations and vaccinations that may be required for employees, including those not involved with direct care:
✓Drug Screening
✓TB Evaluation
✓Annual Influenza*
✓Limited exemptions may be made for documented medical contraindications or religious beliefs that object to vaccinations.
✓one (1) year of experience required at the lower-level Health Aide 1 (HCS020) or position equivalent.
Preference will be given to candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, demonstrate some or all of the following skills/experience: preferred
1+ years' direct care experience preferably some experience in Mental Health preferred
