About the role

In an environment of continuous quality improvement , the Health Information Services Coding Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the assignment of codes for all inpatient and outpatient medical records using the appropriate coding system. Assists members of the medical staff in identifying the principal diagnosis and sequencing secondary diagnoses and procedures for optimal reimbursement.
