You’ll need
Certifications
RHIT or RHIA certification preferred
Education
✓High school diploma
Associate’s degree in Health Information Technology or related healthcare field preferred
Qualifications
✓Two (2) years of experience in a Health Information department within a healthcare facility
✓Experience with Epic or other EMRs and database systems
✓Minimum Requirements
✓Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize
✓Demonstrated problem‑solving skills, urgency, and respect for confidentiality
✓Ability to communicate professionally with hospital staff, clinicians, and external partners
✓Customer‑service mindset with a collaborative approach
✓Ability to adapt to changing workload and workflow demands
✓Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Working knowledge of HIPAA and Joint Commission standards preferred

Accurately scan and indexAccurately scan and index records according to policy
