Responsible for performing general secretarial and clerical duties in the patient care areas. Interacts with patients, families and physicians and acts as a liaison among members of the health care team, patients and families. Assists the nursing staff in coordinating the activity of the unit.

1 year of experience in related healthcare setting, completion of a Health Unit Coordinator program, or 3 months in a Swedish internship program.
Previous experience using electronic medical record.
