Health Unit Coordinator- CICU at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. This position is Part Time and will work 12-hour Day shifts. Under direct supervision, the Health Unit Coordinator on the critical care unit is accountable to the bedside RN and Nurse Leader to facilitate a safe and secure environment for the patient, family and providers in the department in completion of the duties delegated to them for the shift and maintaining clear communication between the needs of the patient through the RN and Nurse Leader. Coursework/Training: Completed training as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Coursework/Training: Completion of first semester nursing program or Coursework/Training: EMT Program Completion National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire 1 year of Acute patient care experience or 6 months experience working within a clinical environment providing clerical or patient support related to Provider care, patient documentation, or charting.
Experience with basic data entry.
Coursework/Training: Completion of medical terminology course or successful completion of hospital medical terminology text.
