Health Unit Coordinator- NICU- FT Nights- JDCH

Performs administrative/clerical duties in support of an assigned nursing area. The position requires a commitment of three days per week, with 12-hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.

Assists with processing patient admissions, transfers and discharges. Assembles and maintains patient records and charts. Performs needed clerical tasks, including copying, faxing, filing, and ordering/obtaining supplies.

Greets patients and visitors. Monitors, answers, screens, and routes all telephone calls. Emergency alerts, pages, and overhead announcements as requested.
