Prefer advanced certifications or additional training in healthcare compliance or regulatory affairs. preferred
Education
✓Require Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Qualifications
✓Require admission to the Florida State Bar or eligibility for admission.
✓Require a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in corporate contracting and healthcare law with a strong focus on physician arrangements and hospital representation.
✓Require experience in managing regulatory compliance and responding to regulatory inquiries.
✓Prefer in-depth knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements.

About the role
The Healthcare Counsel - Hospital Operation serves as the senior legal advisor on healthcare contracting and regulatory matters impacting hospital and physician operations. Provides strategic legal guidance for certain Acute Care Hospital Divisions, Ambulatory Division, and other corporate divisions advising on regulatory compliance, operational strategy, and complex contracting matters.
