Queen’s North Hawai'i Community Hospital is a 35-bed rural acute care hospital located in Waimea (Kamuela), Hawaii Island. More than 300 employees and over a dozen employed physicians staff the main hospital, as well the outpatient clinics located in the Lucy Henriques Medical Center, at our Primary Care Clinic located near Longs Drugs, and at our Specialty Clinic located in the Parker Ranch Center. • Moves furniture, equipment, and supplies in and around the department/hospital; picks up biohazard/hospital trash and soiled linen; performs a variety of housekeeping duties to maintain Queen's North Hawaii Community Hospital (QNHCH) in an orderly and sanitary condition. • Performs duties in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. - Work involves performing duties in a small, confined space, ability to negotiates stairs, ramps, and walking uneven ground, and performing tasks sometimes in wet/slippery and hazardous conditions. IV.

• Prior experience in housekeeping, environmental services, or heavy-duty cleaning required. • Experience to demonstrate knowledge and ability in using floor maintenance equipment, including scrubbers, strippers, burnishers, and waxing machines preferred.
